The Hull is the green icon that the shields envelops. Its the most important part of the ship. If the hull is damaged, it will change color, from green>yellow>orange>red. If the hull if damaged further than red, the ship will be destroyed. The ship will repair itself when given enough time. To repair it instantly, repair the ship at a station.

Power[]

The ship needs power to move, shoot weapons, activate shields etc. So thats why the ship needs a Power Generator, and a Capacitor. The Generator generates power while the Capacitor stores it. You will see at the bottom of your screen near the Hull on how much energy the capacitor has. Moving, charging weapons etc needs energy so they will takes some from the capacitor. If the capacitor ran out of energy, the ship will stop charging weapons, shields etc. They can also be damaged.
